mr devon and i are saying goodbye to austin in april and heading back to virginia. happy/sad. i just confirmed my first and last austin band show. thursday, march 12th at 10pm at strange brew on manchaca. the line-up is mike meadows, anthony da costa, and andrew pressman. here’s one place we’ll miss, redbud isle:

I think I just discovered an alien radio station and the music is really good.

ate potato wedges from 7-eleven, very much like the ones at the amoco in louisa with danele — drove on snowy roads until i wasn’t nervous anymore and then got nervous about that — nursed two small cups of weak coffee — cried on the phone with fido, having spent so much time and money trying to get a stupid sim card set up –  wondered again if i was seeing crows or ravens — listened to jim o’rourke —  stopped at a rest area with ice on the seat — wished i could buy rich a vanilla drink from tim horton’s  — played next to a cozy xmas tree in a grain silo / art gallery in dawson creek — soft pillows and lots of weird art at cozy b&b

Hello.  Happy autumn!

I packed up my stuff (with Tim’s help, above) and flew over here to the Midlands yesterday.  Just slept for 12 hours, did a quick interview, and with another couple cups of heavily-doctored instant coffee, should be ready for tonight’s rehearsal 🙂

A new show has been added – Coventry on Halloween, oooooh – as you’ll see below.  If you have friends in any of these places, thanks for letting them know, guys.
